Hi Thomas;
  Thanks for the advice!  And sorry about using HTML format - won't happen
again.  Do you know if anyone has used this technique for modelling objects
from plan views?  I suspect that painting over a plan view could be a quick
way to create a model for POV-RAY and would like to learn more about the
"tips and tricks" of doing it.
